Granta uses a minimal set of cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. What we use
Strictly necessary
- Auth session (localStorage) — keeps you signed in between visits. Without it you'd have to log in every time.
- Auth refresh token (localStorage) — silently renews your session before it expires.
Functional
- UI preferences (localStorage) — remembers things like collapsed panels and the install prompt state.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregated product analytics. No third-party advertising SDKs run on the site.
2. Third parties
When you sign in with Google, Google may set cookies on its own domain as part of the OAuth flow. Those cookies are governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.
3. Controlling cookies
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time from your browser's settings. Clearing the auth cookies will sign you out. Most browsers also let you block all cookies, which will prevent Granta from working correctly.
4. Do Not Track
We don't run cross-site trackers, so DNT signals have no behavioral target. We treat all users as if DNT is on.
5. Changes
If we add new categories of cookies we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before they run.
